Venture Hacks
Venture Hacks was an influential startup advice blog co-written by naval-ravikant and babak-nivi beginning in 2007. It offered detailed, founder-friendly guidance on negotiating term sheets, understanding cap tables, and navigating the fundraising process — information that had previously been closely held by investors.
The blog’s practical authority built a wide readership among founders and investors. That community became the foundation on which angellist was built in 2010.
